Our Process
At Prot, protein quality starts at the ingredient level. For the Prot Block, we use carefully selected European pea protein chosen for its functional performance in food systems, not just its protein percentage. The source, extraction quality, and protein structure directly influence flavour absorption, texture, cook stability, and digestibility, which is why ingredient selection matters deeply to us.
This allows us to create a clean, soy-free plant-based protein block with a firmer bite, better moisture retention, and a more natural eating experience compared to heavily processed protein products. It cooks evenly, absorbs spices effectively, and integrates seamlessly into everyday meals without the chalky taste or dense after-feel commonly associated with plant-based proteins.
